SS question

Is splitting my steady state sessions into intervals just as useful as doing straight 45mins? I do 3×15 with 2′ rest to stretch out and drink water and because rowing for more than 30′ straight is really boring even with music/tv. But is it still as useful as doing 45′ straight? Edit: Good news I just finished and it felt good. During the minute thirty I kept my hr at 115+ and my back feels great. For anyone who had the same question or was wondering what’s better 3×15′ is way better than 45′ straight.
