My work recently switched to rowing for our annual fitness test. I’m a larger guy, 6’5 300#. I’m hoping to test at 280#, which would make my passing time 6:56. Last year we used a water rower for the test and I rowed a 6:21, which was one of the better times, but I know the concept is harder.
This year we’re switching to the concept 2 at setting 5. My question is, am I better served doing sprint intervals or steady state or a mixture of the two to prepare? I thought I would ask here so I’m not …read more
