Currently hitting the fall bulk, probably going all the way up to 170lb before cutting back down for spring/summer season lightweight rowing. Have a few questions based off of various weightlifting techniques and how they affect muscle gain.
Given a 250 calorie surplus for a half pound a week bulk, (I’m also hitting 570′ of on the water time, mostly in the 1x but about 180′ in 4+ and 8+s, and 60′ erging), how does muscle hypertrophy training (so like German Volume Training instead of classic 5×5) in any way affect muscle gain vs other forms of weightlifting?
