Supplements for Rowers

What kind of supplements do you guys take/recommend? I’ve seen guys take all kinds of shit for varying circumstances, from beta-alanine to beet juice. I’ve never really been to into the whole supplement thing other than some occasional whey protein, so I was wondering what some of y’all have had experience with and what’s worked for you.
