Is it a bad idea to take pre workout before an erg session, specifically an erg test? I almost always take it before lift and my body responds well to it and I feel pretty good throughout the workout. The pre workout I take has 170mg-ish of caffeine and has a fat burning supplement mixed in. We have the first erg test of the season on Friday and im considering trying it.
