I am a relatively new collegiate level rower (walk-on Fall 2019) and have the opportunity to get lactate testing done. I am curious, should I get the lactate done while on the erg or on the treadmill while running? I have the two options as this is not being done through the school.
On the treadmill they control the spilts, whereas on the erg its up to me to keep at a certain split for the specified time duration. Being kinda new I am worried about this (especially when approaching max effort). Just don’t want to make the …read more
