I was a 255lb very unfit person when I decided to get an erg. I generally do longer rows, 10-15k for the weight loss, but every once in a while I’ll do a 5k to see how I’m improving.
My first 5k was 24:09.5 and I have now achieved 20:09.9.
Not only have my times come down, so has my weight, from 255lb down to 208lb, nearly 50lb! I feel better in myself and a lot fitter.
Still a ways to go…..next stop, sub 20:00.0 and sub 200lb.
