I can’t reach my max heart rate during a 2k


I pull 6:07. I am 22. I haven’t been training long, about a year and a half. I do about >75%ish steady state. My max HR that I have gotten to on an erg was 201 during a 2x20min@22sr, and I was above 198 for the last 5 mins. I have recently gotten a heart rate monitor. I have raced a couple 2ks on the water in the 1x. My max HR has been from 190-193. I have trouble getting my HR higher then that.
