Getting in shape? What were your results?

I have a question about how will doing school crew impact me and my weight? I’m a female 5’8 and 136. I am just hoping that excess fat that I have will burn and I’ll develop more muscle. We practice 6x a week for about 2 hours. What should I expect? Is there anything else I can do help burn fat? What was your experience with gaining muscle and/or losing weight?
