Biking to protect the ribs

Hello, I had a rib muscle strain 2 weeks ago and have been on the bike since. Only issue is Yesterday, the other side of my torso(the side not affected by the strain) has started to become tight as well. Does anyone have experience with this, and a way to bike that could possibly prevent this in the future? To clarify, it is the Serratus Anterior that is sore, the muscles on the side of the rib cage. Thanks!
