Beta-Alanine for Rowing – Legal Rowing Steroids??? (11 second 2k PR)

There was a post about this 4 years ago on the sub but comments are now disabled. I wanted to re-open the discussion. I’ve read that a study was conducted on university rowers and found that those who used beta-alanine at 3.2g/day saw something like a 7 second PR on their 2k times (ON AVERAGE). I personally ran 6.4g/day for 2 months (I have an insanely high tolerance to the tingles) and saw absolutely ZERO noticeable difference in training.
