I’m fairly new to rowing, been doing it for about two months. I’ve got a 750m erg race coming up and I was wondering if there’s any good strategy I could use. My best 500m split is 1:40 but that was absolutely everything (I’m not that fit). What would be a good split to aim for. What would be a good stroke rate? And should I just go full on sprint mode from the start or calm down a little in the middle. To me it seems 750m would be too long for a full on sprint. Thanks!
